Who am I?

I am an experienced coach and coach supervisor specialising in supporting neuro diversity, both for my clients and also for managers in a corporate context. I also coach and support clients in a family setting.

My start point is to help my clients discover their strengths and talents, building confidence before going on to look at coping strategies where needed. I believe that this is the basis for any good coaching, neuro diverse or otherwise.

I qualified as a coach in 2007 while working in marketing within the John Lewis Partnership, and worked as an Internal Coach across both John Lewis and Waitrose. I subsequently qualified as a Coach Supervisor in 2017.

During this time I was invited to become part of the Inside Out coaching group, formed with internal coaches from other organisations including the BBC, GlaxoSmithKlein, the Civil Service, PWC and British Airways amongst others.  I left the John Lewis Partnership in 2019 to concentrate on coaching more fully.

I have been married for over 35 years and have two children, both adult now, one of whom is dyslexic, the other has Asperger's Syndrome and I have ADHD, which lead to my interest in championing talent, devising and working with coping strategies for these and other neuro-diverse conditions.

I am also experienced in juggling work and home and achieving a balance between the two. I run workshops on topics such as How to be Happier, Letting Go of Being Perfect and Neuro Diversity: Focussing on Strengths and Unlocking Talent and have worked with companies to create understanding and help them become more inclusive for neuro diverse employees, including on-boarding neuro diverse potential recruits.

I come from a creative background and like to use this in my coaching and supervision. I spend my weekends cooking, dog walking and seeing family and friends.
